OH MY GOSH!!!!! Can I just tell you all....
I am in love with the fun 4th of July stuff going on in blogland right now!
I am such a copycat...it isn't even funny!
LOOK!!!
You see that really cute vase in the middle...yeah, that is what I'm talking about! I made it...ok, filled it..but cute right!? It is a really Cute and inexpensive idea for using kidney beans (red) great northern beans (white) and black beans (blue) to make a flag in a glass jar! Do you just love or what! I am so excited because it was so easy, cheap, and Cute! Did I mention that it was cute? I found this at linky party and I instantly became a follower of her blog because I seriously fell in love with these! To check out her blog go to this link. Makoodle. These are so easy and they look Fantabulous as decor. Here in Utah we celebrate the 24th also, so this cutie gets to stay up for a while! YAY!
OK so what you need to make this is:
-Vase,Apothecary Jar,or anything that would be glass and "see through" so you can layers the beans
-kidney beans
-white beans
-black beans
I loved this tall vase!
I used 3/4 cup of each color of bean alternating the red and white.
You only need the black beans for the top.
The more I looked at this vase just knowing that it could be all nice and even...Yep... I HAD to fix it. I poured all the beans out and sorted them! and this time I used a 1/2 cup instead of 3/4 c. So worth it though! Here's how it looks now....{SIGH} I love it even more now!
AND
I have some cute pedestal canisters that I change up for the seasons... I just HAD to do them too.
These sit in my kitchen...I L.O.V.E. it! Can you tell?
On these jars I used 1/3 cup of each color of bean.
Pretty darn cute...I mean CA-UTE!
