Spring...Spring...Spring & A GIVEAWAY!

Ahem...so you all have probably noticed that I have been messing around with my blog. What do you think? I'm thinking I like it. I'm always changing thing up a little.  I'm still trying to figure out how to add my custom post divider and it is driving me CA-RAZY!!!

{yes, I think it may be a compulsive disorder, but we won't talk about that...}

Today is Tutorial day!  I told you all I have been working on a few things...

this was a super easy project and I think it turned out pretty darn cute!

Spring Spring Spring plaque

Cute & Spring-y!  Want to know how to make it?

This is what you need:

-White Craft Paint.
-Stain
-1 piece Scrapbook Paper
-Printer
-Mod Podge
-Burlap
-Embellishments
-Glue Gun
-Wood Plaque

-Piece Sand Paper

First thing to do is choose a cute font and type Spring...Spring...Spring getting bigger as you go using your computer.  (Be sure to center it) Print that onto your scrapbook paper using your printer.  Easy right?

 Paint your plaque with the craft paint

Place your plaque on top of the paper and trace!

Cut it out, and  mod podge the entire back of the paper

Put the paper on top of the wood plaque, press down to be sure you don't have any bubbles
and...wait for the mod podge to dry (about 10 minutes.) Give it a little sanding around the edges and on the back if you want to, then use a cloth and add the stain around the edges and where ever else you want it! I do the back of the wood too!  Make a cute little rosette with the burlap and put a cute little embellishment in the middle...and your all done!
